The BAG-haven Initiative shall bring together the different players and enablers who will come together to make RA 11337, an initiative on co-creating the idea of a Silicon Valley-like Startup Ecosystem Haven in Baguio, a reality. The day-long event will showcase Baguio student-founded startups in the realms of smart mountain engineering, criminal justice and public safety, as well as agritech, among others. The American Spaces of the US Embassy in the Philippines will also be sponsoring a panel talk which spotlights the stories of those who have ventured into Technopreneurship. The highlight of the event shall be the signing of the “BAG-haven Community Commitment” which shall be led by the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of the City to show that indeed, the future belongs to the youth.

The Bohol Island State University - , formerly the Central Visayas State College of Agriculture, Forestry and Technology, is a public institution of higher learning in Bohol, Philippines. FabLab Bohol - the first Fabrication Laboratory in the Philippines is a center for design, innovation and invention and was established in 2014 with funding from thee Department of Trade and Industry, Bohol Island State University, Department of Science and Technology and Japan International Cooperating Agency.

The Slingshot is an annual event designed to support entrepreneurs, especially in the field of innovation and the creative industries. This year’s Slingshot aims to give limelight to creative entrepreneurship and the successes of the creators and the creative communities. It aim to feature creative entrepreneurs to share how they started, how they were challenged, and how they flourished thereafter. We also aim to share and promote creative collaborations and how the community can work together towards a unified goal of spreading awareness and appreciation of the Creative Industries.

Animo Labs is a technology business incubator formed from the partnership between De La Salle University (DLSU) and the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD). Animo Labs aims to provide an easily accessible and democratized platform for prototyping and innovation.

Animo Labs has two prototyping facilities. The first at the Manila Campus and the second at Laguna Campus will house equipment for first level prototyping i.e. 90% of prototyping needs (e.g. 3D-printing, circuit fabrication, and woodworking) and equipment for second level prototyping i.e. the remaining 10% of prototyping needs which include but are not limited to metalworking equipment.
